Mode of action Antiflatulent. Aero-OM contains simethicone as an active substance. Simethicone belongs to a group of medicines that reduces the accumulation of gas in the stomach and intestines. Aero-OM is used in the symptomatic treatment of flatulent colic, difficulty in eructation and regurgitation, and functional abdominal distension. Composition of Aero-OM: The active substance is simethicone. One milliliter of oral emulsion contains 105 mg of simethicone. The other ingredients are: sucrose, strawberry essence, sodium benzoate (E211) and purified water. How to use The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days. In children up to one year of age the usual dose is 5 to 10 drops, 3 or 4 times a day. In children over one year of age, 10 drops 3 or 4 times a day are recommended after meals.
