    Nib:  9550 Extra Fine Master Series nib, tipped with "osmiridium."
    This is an early transitional fountain pen as evidenced by the 3 ridge jewel, the plain (uninscribed) clip.
    The only flaw with this pen is
    :  there are 2 small cracks in the threads of the barrel.  However, the section fits snugly and the cap twists on and off perfectly.  This pen is guaranteed to write for you.  But we are discounting it because of the cracks.
